From the homicide scene, to the Medical Examiners Office, To the Candlelight Vigil, the Funeral, and as long as needed thereafter. Providing love, comfort, care, and resources.

Donovan Price has been a Victim Advocate/Crisis Intervention Specialist for the past 3 years in the Chicagoland area. Handling the entire city alone, he has had the honor of being on scene at approximately 33% of the homicides in Chicago during that time. Working in conjunction with CPD as a member of the Faith-Based Sub Committee of EVERY Police District, and "Operation Wake-Up" Donovan Price plays a major part in communities throughout the city that have experience gun violence first hand.
When a shooting occurs, in particular when someone is declared dead on the scene, Donovan generally arrives, approximately 20 minutes after shots fired, so as to, be there when the mother/family arrive to provide them with love, care, information, and prayer. He then acts as an escort to the Cook County Medical Examiners Office for body identification. after that, he helps to coordinate any vigils, and helps the family find resources, and plan for their loved ones funeral. He then points them in the direction of guidance, and resources, and anything else they may need, FOR AS LONG AS THEY NEED.
Donovan Price has been on-call 24/7 for the past 3 years.
