Starting on Sunday August 22nd, we will kick off a week of initiatives for the 2021 school year, ending on Saturday August 28th with our PEACE Walk and Chicago PEACE Family Festival.

Back-2-School Chicago PEACE Week 2021 will support families and children returning to school through city-wide hubs offering guidance, encouragement and practical resources to prepare students for success.

GOALS FOR THE WEEK

1. Activate community members from the faith, education, and nonprofit organizations.
2. Beautify three Chicago Public School hub locations.
3. Bring families of school age children together for a city-wide Family Back 2 School festival.
4. Provide students with 10K backpacks, school supplies, and immunization as they return to in-person learning.
5. Boost school registrations for our school partners.
6. Renovate a house for a family.
